Title: Studio Fizbin "The inner world" Speaker: Sebastian Mittag Start: 09:05:40 Length: 55:10 During this presentation, Sebastian will give you some insights on Studio Fizbin's approach to the processes of interactive storytelling and 2D-animation in games. You'll also get an exclusive look at beautifully hand crafted animations, both linear and interactive, the latter one being powered by Studio Fizbin's own Adventure-Game Engine "AdventureFonk". We want to briefly show the way until today und focus on the special characteristics seen from an economic, content and technological perspective. Why didn’t we choose a technology which is already available? What are the differences between a mouse controller and a touch device? How do we plan to publish our first big Indie-Project "The Inner World" and how it shall reach its audience without a big marketing budget. You will see a lot of visual examples to underline the definitions and expressions. The lipsync is a lie! At the age of 13,Sebastian created his first self-published magazine "the viking". He sold 22 copies,3 of which were bought by his own grandmother. But his path to the media industry was predestinated in just a matter of time. It would be another 14 years until he would earn his B.A. in “media production” and his diploma in media conception at the Institute of Animation,a sector of the well known Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. In 2011,he co-founded Studio Fizbin in Ludwigsburg. He is in charge of the concept and game design of the games for the German TV-series "Tom & the slice of bread with strawberry jam and honey”,he directs short animated advertising-clips and is the game director of "The Inner World".
